"If your inner voice, or your doctor's inner voice, says something is seriously wrong, listen to it." -- article from CNN.com by Elizabeth Cohen, Senior Medical Correspondent.
This is where I would interject and clarify that the "inner voice" is the Spirit of the Lord known as the Comforter (John 15:26), the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38 ) or the Spirit (John 7:39). I would be remiss to let you wonder and think that this 'inner voice' wasn't divine.
The Spirit of the Lord is accessible to everyone! All mankind has the power to hear the inspiration of the Lord for themselves. And the constant companionship of the Spirit is granted as a gift from God for entering the waters of baptism (see D&C 84:64).
Its good advice to be sensitive to the "inner voice" that warns you, comforts you and blesses you. I'm grateful to know the Spirit is always willing and ready to guide you. Our Father in Heaven and His Son, Jesus Christ, are active in your lives and send messages to us via the Holy Ghost.
It should make you smile that the 'inner voice' reminding you of your beauty, your wisdom and your talents...is the Holy Ghost, sent by Jesus Christ to remain with us on this earth to bring comfort and peace to our hearts and minds.
Embrace those good thoughts because "the Spirit speaketh the truth and lieth not." --Jacob 4:13
