Prayers of Thanksgiving ARE the Songs of the Heart! (I think I combined a few Hymns with that statement, not sure though!)
The conversation went like this...
Me -- "I can't find my phone! (pause) Dang it, I dropped it. (pause) Its too dark to see. Argh, I need my phone. (pause) Where is it? I can't find it! (tension building) Where could it be? (frustration) It was just here in the car a moment ago (tossing papers and such around in the car) and now I can't find it. Ah! (relief) I found it, let's go!"
L (age 8) -- "Mom, I prayed."
Me -- "For what?"
L -- "That you'd find your phone and you did."
Me -- "Thank you!"
WOW! I am thankful for prayer. I'm glad that L called upon the power of prayer and that his prayer was answered. So so happy!
FYI -- I'd been searching for how to help L with drawing and the November issue of the Friend Magazine actually has an article "How to Draw like a Friend Artist" AWESOME! Check out the link HERE. Answers to prayers happen ALL the time. Those little thoughts and songs of our heart keep us going and constantly accepting the answers to questions we seek!
